About Us
Green Turtle Herbals is a small company located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We are dedicated to producing the freshest wildcrafted and organic herbal products available. We make small batches of our creams, vinegars and tinctures almost every day. Our tinctures are aged at least eight weeks and are poured as they are ordered.
As a young girl I spent several years with my Native American grandmother, who taught me enormous respect and gratitude for Mother Earth and "all my relations." She ate "weeds," planted her garden by the moon, and had a remedy for everything that popped up. She taught me to pay attention to my body and recognize when something was going on. That meant living in the moment. It was not until later in my life as a student of alternative medicine that I 
recognized the extent of her wisdom. She was a true "Wise Woman."
I love planting, tending my gardens and wildcrafting. Every day I am humbled by the miracles of nature. I am a perpetual student of herbalism and a certified nutritional counselor. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about our products.
